I think it was poor design to keep the screen moving around randomly while watching television screens, this is a bit nauseating and unpleasant, and it would just be better to be able to keep the screen still for a moment... Aside from that, it's a generic type of semi realistic horror game graphics.

I've figured out what the Psalm is. The original Hebrew Bible *does* have 13 lines to the Psalm. "9 O LORD, lead me in Thy righteousness because of them that lie in wait for me; make Thy way straight before my face." 10 For there is no sincerity in their mouth; their inward part is a yawning gulf, their throat is an open sepulchre; they make smooth their tongue. 11 Hold them guilty, O God, let them fall by their own counsels; cast them down in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against Thee. 12 So shall all those that take refuge in Thee rejoice, they shall ever shout for joy, and Thou shalt shelter them; let them also that love Thy name exult in Thee. 13 For Thou dost bless the righteous; O LORD, Thou dost encompass him with favour as with a shield." This is what the game is explicitly referencing. I'll hazard a guess as to the interpretation but tbh it's pretty tricky. The protagonist seems to be someone who is clearly dead (if only from the huge hole in their head) and also possibly a murderer. Throughout the game they have their path essentially "made straight" by being guided. The question is whether or not the body parts you find are the sinners who were slain by the protagonist - or whether the protagonist is a victim of these injustices and in the finale are literally putting the pieces of themselves back together. Either way when the finale arrives the "righteous" person is always protected and the evil in their way is always removed simply by looking at them - quite explicitly being removed simply by looking at them. When finally he looks at himself in the mirror he, too, is removed - presumably because he is a monster just like them, either intentionally or as a victim of evil seeking peace. Honestly it's a bit more ambiguous than I'd like, but still it's an interesting game.

He isnt a monster for me but I guess those monsters and you said victims meant that the reflection of the protagonist means repentance. Psalm 5:5 isnt contradicting immediately that God would just perished those sinners and wicked but he hoped ALL of them would start repenting through God righteous way as I remembered around Peter. I think the lying bodies are just open graves here like the foolish throat. The table meant counsel and that our protagonist is actually in the good ending as he still continue doing the puzzle even it was actually obvious that he is also a symbolic monster x sinner or wicked. Remember that theres a part that they wouldnt also have eternal life, all of it would be taken to the one who judged as perished but the ending is possibly open interpretation but I think this part of Psalm 5:5 meant that. The house also symbolize that the protagonist face his fears and challenged by God to face those wicked and sinners as you said in the way of a righteous ones. That will make the ending more meaningful, I mean why would the protagonist would just suffer all of that to expect nothing to the one who guides his way through darkness?

I loved how the duck was hiding in the one place manly always looks first yet didn't this time around.... In the trash can with his soul. Also for the missing 13th verse the Hebrew has it listed as 13 instead of 12 for some reason. Also it could be the version of the Bible the creator used as some Bibles have crap added to them, stuff taken out of them or are longer cause of differences in translation. Also translation can affect the length of a Bible verse too cause of the length of some words and sentences.

You seen that Scooby Doo museum escape game? If not, there’s a very cruel jump scare in an optional part of the game. You don’t even need to do it to finish. It pops up tiny, faint text dialogue that you have to lean in close to see, then gets you with a Scary Stories-style face jumpscare. ;O;

For anyone looking for Psalms 5:13, you won't find it in the Christian texts. Psalms 5 only goes up to verse 12 in the Christian texts. Instead, look in the Hebrew texts! In Hebrew, Psalms Chapter 5 DOES go up to verse 13. It's an interesting formatting difference!

It depends on the version of the Bible you are looking at. For instance, according the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, #1 is the "For the leader; with wind instruments. A psalm of David." Which makes everything subsequently off by 1, so it has 13, which is your 12. The Torah online also does the same thing so there are 13.

_Very scary atmosphere_ You can infer a story maybe. What follows is only a theory, but *spoiler alert* I wondered if the whole family were victims - adults and children. And we play as the murderer who buried their bodies in the woods after dismembering them. So the Psalm - there are 13 lines depending on the version tho. But it's the ending that counts here as the focus. It's basically is a prayer seeking retribution against your enemies who can be liars. So were we a friend of the family who was the killer? And then we, the killer, are literally being turned into a ghoul or a resident of some hell on earth. I really enjoyed this, tho it was very short. the sound effects and design were excellent. And you have nerves of steel MBH. I jumped plenty lol!!

The fact that for Psalm 5 to have 13 verses in the first place, you need to include "For the **Leader**; upon the Nehiloth. A Psalm of David." as verse 1 (which not all versions do, as its more an instruction). That seems important to the story we're being told, but I can't put my finger on why.

Its introductory statement of Psalm 5, the leader is chief musician, the Nehiloth is connected as an instrument, tone or undefined and a psalm is all about expressing praises, prayers and emotions through poetic composition its possible that theyre telling it this way mentioning it all. However most words mentioned alot here is too much contested its undefined who this is who is that but all open for interpretation. What matters here is David though, David is asking for God's guidance and righteousness like what he was going through is a path of darkness.

Something silly but I was only half paying attention at the start, the dialog drifting in one ear and out the other... That is until I hear "An empty trash can" at which point I stopped what I was doing and looked at my monitor and subconciously said "Like my soul." at the exact same time as Manly! 7:30 I swear I saw a "Riot Games" logo on the center of the flashlight. I've looked back at least 10 times now and I don't see it.. I'm legit so confused because the logo was so freakin' vivid.. It was a fist with Riot Games right next to it, full white. I'm going insane.. 7:22 This is a reference to "The Wyoming Incident" (which, in turn, is heavily inspired by the real-world Max Headroom signal hijacking). The Wyoming Incident is a creepypasta/ARG about a signal hijacking. It might have been made by users on Something Awful but it might also have been finished and restarted by multiple people, so it's a bit mysterious. I don't think there's any specific connection here, besides just a shout out to another horror thing. But, maybe other people see something I don't?

pretty sure it's a reference to eternal darkness. It was a horror game that had sanity effects if your character's sanity was to low, and after an effect happened they'd often react with one of the phrases being "this can't be happening!"

hey, i dont know if you read comments but i suggest you try playing the utility room! its not exactly a horror game but its a very surreal backrooms kind of game i wanna see your reaction to it if you ever play it sometime ^^
