Are you actually serious? People are just nasty and leave dislikes without watching the video. Unless you know something I don't. Madilyn has a beautiful voice, but I know where you're coming from in that he didn't sing until nearly the end of the song. I'm surmising that it was due to Madilyn's voice being powerful, and it overtook his when they were singing together. Also, I'm very certain this was originally on her channel, which also could be why it features her so much.

I love that it's more stripped down than the original, really makes the meaning behind the lyrics stand out. And Madilyn's voice is so beautiful here! I've always loved her ethereal quality and it fits so well with the meaning

Alex's piano is awesome, the riffs are spot on combined with the improvisations I have seen you threw in there. Also, the way Madilyn's voice works here, something about the accent or something she's using it really suits the song.

For me this is the best cover because Madilyn's voice can go deep and then high, unlike other girl covers where their voice is just soft and high.

This is such an amazing song, so beautifully written. I have to say though, I love the Coldplay version, but if I’m being honest I think Madilyn has absolutely smoked the original. Gorgeously sung and looks to match. Such an ethereal voice. Thank you so much for bringing this in to my life

Alex voice is good and I like he's face expressions Kurt make different music and Kurt videos camera is so bright and good I love Alex's song with kurt

i don't thinks it fair to compare who is better though because kurt is more proficient with instruments that anything he touch can be one but is weak on the singing. alex is the jack of all trades but isn't really proficient on some things like his voice can't hit high notes like sam's to where he easily gets overpowered by other singers. i do like them both though and they're both are skilled at what they do but if you're talking about preferences, i would prefer alex.

Look Im a metalhead/rock guy. Guitar player. My goal in life is to rock so hard my guitar pick catches fire in my hands. Im half-joking, but I just had to say this rendition of this song moved me in way I can't properly explain. You guys did an amazing job. I'd argue this is far superior to the original. It nearly brings me to tears every time i listen to it. Long live metal, and also beautiful music that moves people.

I heard this cover one too many times. I simply love the song and you guys made me love it even more. Even though I love madilyn and I LOVE her voice. I would have loved to hear Alex's voice as well I think their voices combined would have made this song much better. But I'm no singer so what do I know?
