Bitter no chew wrap. Smells like sour apple to humans. We got some for my dog after a surgery. She ate the rolls of it😂😂 she was fine. Just one of the very few who like the bitter apple taste😂😂

She could have given Vanessa a lot more trouble indeed. For example, she might have tried (and suceeded) to escape the table. I think she's entitled to growl to maintain her self respect!

@locabynature my extra old man, who has end stage kidney disease with anemia, did twist and fly to go for my face while I was trying to give him Cerenia for his trip to the vet clinic. It's amazing how spicy the spiciest ones can stay. My first vet with him thought he was feral when he is, without medical interference, a lap cat. 😂

My sixteen year old will fluff you up if you have to brush or groom her back end. I usually put her under my arm like a football and do it one handed while she calls me every name in the book.

I hadn't seen one that droopy until recently on a fairly young cat, I had to google to find out the reason as I thought the cat had something wrong with her. Apparently they are a good thing as the cat can run faster if needs be as it allows them to stretch and take longer strides.

My 8 year old has a droopy pouch like that. I got her fixed shortly after her first heat cycle so she wasn't a full on adult yet. She went from being teeny tiny to full on chonk in a matter of weeks.

Our girl is 6 this year and she's got a belly that swings as she walks. I'll poke it gently to make it jiggle when she's standing on my keyboard and won't move. 😂 she also is the only pet that has ever figured out the dog door. Unless my kids count😂😂 no litter box and she doesn't leave our back yard. I think in another couple years she'll be a full on chonk. I had a oh lord he comin chunky chunky chonk for 16 years. He never got the pooch though, just looked a bit like a furry watermelon. 😂

The pooch is where kitties store their fat. Once they're fixed, you have to alter their diet to match their activity level.

At that age, I don't think the esthetics are exactly worried about.We just had ours pass.She was seventeen and we had to cut out quite a few of her mats too I don't know what breed she was.She was a tuxedo Kitty and had one of those types of hairs where they have the undercoat and the overcoat.And even though the overcoat wasn't that long , it still got matted. To us the most important part of the end was that she be comfortable.

We had to shave my old boy once , problem was, maybe only 30% of his hair grew back in patches. 😿

@@eva-w We were lucky with her maths. They were mainly just in her back door area. So cutting them off was not a big deal. As far as her for when we brushed her for it quite frequently the amount of hair she would shed kind of required the amount of brushing daily. Although although we did slow down on that at the end because of her Arthritis. She had a good life.

It's not always easy even for a younger cat to groom long fur; 16 years is really a challenge for self-grooming all that fur, especially with arthritis. Poor Mischa. Hope this made her feel better afterwards.

I had an older cat come to me with an even angrier temperament. I groomed him just a little bit at a time till I understood his sore spots and he trusted me with them. At the end of our time brushing became one of our best times of the day. He was so spicy and loving. The best most "horrible" cat. My heart goes out to this Misha kitty. I'd like to be friends.

I recently had to learn to do this to my own senior cat. Three different groomers were unable to work with him. I can't afford the sedation so I did it myself. I'm one of the only humans he likes so with lots of breaks and patience we were able to get it done.

Misha is a beautiful cat, she reminds me of our cats when I groom them. Watching your channel has really taught me a lot about grooming our pets.
