Thank you for sharing that you feel a bit off, Ian, as I know there will be others who are feeling the same, myself included. I'm 74 years old and feel exactly the same as you describe. A potter in the garden, a glass of wine and a book help a bit but the UK is in chaos, isn't it, and it helps no one's mental health right now. I hope you get your oomph back soon. Coincidently I found a Murdle puzzle book last week in the charity shop - I picked it up for myself to do and then realised it actually has some value to sell! Now I am in two minds - use or sell - I was thinking of maybe using a sheet of transparency and a wipe off dry marker over the puzzle pages to do them so I could do both - LOL. I am sending you positive vibes Ian, we really appreciate your videos, I recommend spending some time outside reading a book to recharge your batteries.

I think a lot of people are finding it hard at the minute mate. All I can advise is try to do something you like to take ur mind off things, even if it’s only for an hour. It’s the start and then take it from there

Good watch as usual Ian. I watch you as Ian because you take my mind of things with your energy and enthusiasm for books. Llke you feel today I can feel for weeks or months at a time, fortunately there is you tube and there is people like you that I watch that can alleviate that "feeling". Maybe try watching someone who does videos on stuff you like, or videos on selling books on eBay... 'Back from burnout' her videos spring to mind. Have you read any books lately? As you may well know that can distract your thoughts and or feelings, (just to add if you have please make a video😊about them). The children's books have little or no value in the U.K. but that doesn't mean they don't have value elsewhere...I've been an ESL teacher most of my adult life. (retired)...Not too long in the past I and my colleagues in Taiwan had been crying out for the very books for young learners that can be found in every charity shop...When I say young I mean really young. As long as they are very clean. (Very important) The very same books that I'm paying between 10p and 20p for in the charity shops. I was paying 5 or 6 pounds for in Taiwan and would be wrecked by the kids in weeks...Not just Taiwan but ditto Japan , South Korea etc....Shipping costs, import taxes obviously have to be taken into account...Still looking into it...I'm obviously finding plenty but don't be too quick to discard them....Still a huge market for them....just not here.
