I remember when this song came out in 1977 or 1978, I was 15 or 16 years old. I thought it one of the most beautiful truthful songs ever. Now going on 5 decades later at the age of 61 my belief, of course has changed. ....Now I KNOW it is one of the most beautiful, truthful songs ever.....I still become choked up with tears when I hear it.......thinking about that little Sw. I love this song so much. And i claim that this is my favorite song ever. I was in my high days when this song hits. Until now that im already 61, this is still my favorite song. I had just joined the Air Force, finished technical school for about a year, and had arrived at my first assignment at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa Japan. I heard this song for the first time in 1977. I came back to the States for a vacation and to see my girlfriend, named Deanna. I was telling her about this song and how much I loved it. She said, "Wait a minute." She wemt and got this album, yes an LP 33-1/3. I still love this song and her to this day.
