Wow, what an intro! You didn't get to the main melody until around 1:20. You really add so much to every song you play. You don't just simply play the melody, it's like you dance around it. You change it up with your improvisations and that is what makes me marvel at your talent! 😮

Another gorgeous rendition of “Over the Rainbow”. One of my son’s and my favorite songs of all time! No one can play these beautiful melodies as beautiful as you have. The recent release of your own, new variation of this song is an instant masterpiece. The original, however, is still the all time favorite of many in your hands. How could it not be? What I adore about you and your playing, Sangah, is how you always "package" your covers with so much more than the original arrangement. For instance, your intro was a very pleasant segue (as are all of your intros!) into the memory of the classic song made famous by Judy Garlin. I grew up with the Wizard of Oz (must have seen the movie a hundred times) and have heard this song my entire life since I was three years old. Another thing I love about your arrangements, Sangah, is how you "weave back and forth" in between the original composition and your impressive modifications/improvisations. The amazing thing is how well all of your modifications "fit" with the original song. It's as if you have the ability to hear what the original artist was hearing when they wrote the song. You are simply amazing, dear! 👏 👍 🤗 💙 🤗 👍 👏

Sublime! I'm in my second year of adult beginner piano lessons and I like Over the Rainbow so much that I uploaded my simple rendition to KZfaq to accompany a rainbow painting by our granddaughter. Thank you for sharing all of your wonderful music. Brilliant indeed! I can only aspire to play with such fluidity and grace one day. Hold Fast everyone ... we'll get through this! PS: Just saw the link to your video on Recording Piano with a Phone or Other Microphones so that's next. On a related note, I watched an Aimee Nolte video where she uses a Sennheiser microphone and a GoPro Hero 4 to record some jazz vocals on a surfboard! She reports that the Sennheiser MKE 2 elements microphone is quite good for audio ... even if you don't care about capturing the video.

I just watched Wizard Of Oz again last week for like the 30th time since I was a kid. My daughter loves it. This piece never fail to move me especially currently there’s a Judy Garland movie tribute titled “Judy”. The movie ended with a moving performance of “Over The Rainbow”. It stars Rene Zellweger.
