Yes Somi is Korean Canadian she got bullied when she was younger because she was half white and half Korean, she also went through a lot to debut. She was part of I think2-3 groups that ended disbanding and she had to go through it all at the age of 15 till now.

She is saying the days of the week in Korean. It's shorter than the English words because they like count the days. It's not Monday, it's first day, second day aso. 😁 They have to dance, sing, learn Japanese as well. Their pronunciation must be on point. And of all I know they have to know how to act, too. Some of them even learn Chinese. It's hard for them and the company don't pay for all. Except for a few, which are true and best money bringing idols. But from all I read they even have to pay their lessons theirselves. It's a tough business there.🤔
