I really like how the members are so respectful. When Soomin started to cry and get serious explaining her feelings, the members didn't joke around but instead gave support. I feel touched how they really take this a serious matter despite of the nature of this variety show. Thank you, Running Man, for showing such siblings love.

as someone whos in his 30s and yet to get married i can understand what somin meant. Most of the time im really happy. but there are times where the loneliness really hit u like a truck. added on 3/9/2023 ive read all the reply and to those in similar situation i pray that you achieve whatever your target or plan this year, be it starting a serious relationship/marriage/be more social/breaking out of ur own bubble etc.

i'm 39, trust me it wont get any easier. If you are aiming for someone or have some2 relationship with a partner go for it, take it to the next level ( more intimate or marriage) dont waste it. Its still early dont believe in the "life start at 40 bullcrap".

This was so relatable. Eating alone, avoiding busy places and then feeling like I’m not living life 😢 I felt comforted hearing that Somin felt this way too. And it was also nice to know that our lifestyles are more relatable than I thought. I expected it, but I thought they were surrounded by friends and always out / bustling experiencing life

Somin is soo geniune. She never was afraid of showing her "weaknesses" or tried to hide her true self and worries, selling us The so called 'perfect' image. As a person, I can relate to her the most out of the cast in many ways, and she proved that to me in many instances. This is simply one of them. Her being aware all the time, of the fact that life is short, and we really have to lead a decent one, without leaving room to any kind of regrets that may haunt us later on, is already proof enough that we are on the right path. She is doing great!

I legit got teary eyed when she started crying. I went through it in my mid 20s. Everyone was busy living their own lives and it felt like I wasn’t. Even though I _was_ living my own life, and was very happy with it, I just felt.. out of touch with others. I learned that that’s basically life for a majority of single people that live alone. No one is in constant contact with someone all day, every day. I hope she will get through this slump soon, and that if she can’t shake it off, she will reach out for help if she needs it.

This is me rn. Im 23, fresh out of uni, and almost all of my friends are already working/pursuing higher education. While here i am, unemployed, don't have anyone to talk to. Sometimes i feel so lonely but i'm to afraid to reach out my friends because i think i'd only disturb them when they're working or busy. It feel so bad sometimes but thankfully i still live with my parents (im asian) so i still got things to do at home like doing chores and chatting with my parents.

I feel like one of somin's best quality is she is not afraid to talk about her emotions. She try to be herself in the moments as much as possible. Most people are scared to talk about their real emotions and feelings because they are fear of being vulnerable or getting hurt or even getting ridicule. It takes immense strength to put yourself in a vulnerable and raw position and just be yourself all the time.

Somin is so pure and genuine and this is why I'm always so protective of her against the haters. She really sacrifices her image for entertainment but at the same time she lets her vulnerability surfaces sometimes. It's what makes her so relatable imo. I really get what Somin feels. Same! I thought I am the only one feels like that. I am turning 37 this year, and I am the only single in the family and all of my friends are happily married and have their own kids. I am happy and contented but there these times that made me feel extreme sadness and loneliness.

i really liked Jongkook's reaction after. she chose him and Jaesuk as the ones who gave her the most helpful advice and so Jongkook asked her which prize he should pick, picked it, and when it was an expensive lotion, he gave it right to her. ♥ i think that was the nicest i've ever seen him be towards her on the show. usually it's always teasing.

Somin was an E before, but now she's an I. So I understand why she cried. She distanced herself from people bcs she's no longer enjoyed meeting people as she did before. Before, she said that meeting people made her happy and she felt lonely as she went back to her house but the opposite happened now. I would like to mention here that she's saying she felt like wasting her times doesn't mean she is sad that she's unmarried yet. The same as me, I feel like I'm wasting my youth not bcs I'm not married yet but bcs of how little time I have to pamper myself. Other than that, I spent it on working and studying. I'm probably going to regret doing this later in the future, so I actually can relate to Somin.

its so funny that ive been also feeling like this- just always doing the same thing everyday and having no human connection at all. no boyfriends, see my friends like once every 6 month and i just feel so useless. so it was kinda nice knowing that its normal to live like this. everyone i know, like sister, parents, everyone in my family, are in a relationship and always go out and i just work and sleep. i love rm so much and glad that im not alone feeling like this.

Ah bless her. She admires who he is as a person, but realises that he’s alone. Although he might be happy she knows that maybe one day she although happy now might look back and wishes she had shared that time with friends or partner. As she doesn’t want to get to his age and realise that your alone. I do what they both do and although I’m I actually happy it’s because I don’t have any alternative. I get on with my own life, the best way I know how hoping that I meet someone who I can share those daily activities with one day, whilst hoping that I don’t have to wait till I’m old. 😊

We feel sad for other people even when they enjoy life by themselves. we think it's lonely. But when we get to experience it, there's actually a looot of happy sides. JK may sometimes think about being with someone but he always have many other worries. I'm just reminded of a show where he was having conversation with his Dragon bros who were married. He's really good with kids tho. He would be a really really great dad if ever.

I kinda relate on so many level. I work at home so I spend most of my time alone coz I'm in the city away from my family. I'm single. And sometimes I also compare my life with others around me, them getting married, having child, and all, living in an Asian country too where relatives or friends always ask when I'm gonna settle down. Although, ofc, I'm very aware myself and acknowledge that everyone's pace in life is different. I'm not lonely or anything. I enjoy laying and watching dramas. I like my alone time, but I also like social interaction.

From experience, I think the worst is when you're actually happy and people expect you to be unhappy just because you're alone! Or if I spend time with family and friends and I'm truly just enjoying my time with them, but they think they're somehow helping me not be lonely... That just ruins our time together.

Man I do feel sometimes being alone AND financially stable and can do whatever you want alone without no one bothering is one of the best thing ever

still in my mid 20s, this kind of lifestyle sounds like heaven to me. It makes me so happy. But, I wonder if I will feel like Somin too if I'm her age one day. Maybe one day I want to see the same face when I wake up every morning, Yeah one day. For sure it's not now🤭

Yeah i also feel like her,Im Not successful( me not her), not proud of myself, but soon i want to earn enough money to settle my life , want to be a good son and want to make my parents proud. I really like his routine lol, he leads such a simple life and I love that ❤️ on a serious note I’m kinda worried about somin, this isn’t the first time that she expressed that she’s lonely and wants to get married. She’s always on the go and it shows on her instagram, she never rests and takes it easy. I understand her worries though, a lot of people feel that way. I want her to live her life joyfully but it’s important to take a pause and really reflect from time to time. I hope she gets everything that she wants in life and be happier ❤️

Me too , i love his life routine , he is enjoying his life and thats what important .... its better to be single than marry the wrong person who may turn your life to hell If he one day decide to marry , i hope he end up with someone deserve him , the one who will truly love him just the way he is and treasure him , and he can share with her his life and his heart

@SuperChick Previous I’m talking about two separate things. With the whole traveling and working thing I noticed on her Instagram that she’s always on the go and I’m saying that she needs to take it a bit easy and relax. The marriage thing she still wants it, she’s always talking about how lonely she is.

I am so sad right now, our pretty talented Sominie is leaving RM. I will miss you so much, and of course the RM crew and members are definitely going to miss your company, your hard work, your funny skits. wow this view open up new perspective to me. its different for me though, as someone married and have a child, i miss my single bachelor life where i can do what i want, having free time & stepping up my career goals. cuz motherhood change my life 360°. i didnt live my life for myself anymore. i live for my son. but watching this, i guess i miss something right in front of me. i forgot that at least at nights after a hectic days handling a toodler i have someone to lean on to, to hug & to have random lite chit chat to.

As someone who's in their 30s, no kids and not married. I relate to KJK. I wake up, go to work, work out and I do other things for myself too. I'm happy. I'm enjoying my time now and experiencing life how I want to. Ngl, there are times I do feel like I'm wasting my youth or something but when I take a step back and look at everything, I'm glad I can say I am happy, even if it didn't turn out how I would have liked but I tend to just go with the flow ☺️

I'm in my 30s and I live roughly the same way as KJK. In fact I am happy enough not only to spend a lot of my free time by myself but I also travel alone alot. I used to think that it's weird to want to be alone so much and used to also feel like I'm wasting my youth but after hitting my 30s, I realize that it's part of adulting and maturing. I hope Somin don't feel so pressured by any typical social conventions and just live the best life in her own way. We all deserve our own brand of happiness.❤️
