Can a buy a generic transmitter and code it also I currently have a transmitter and i have tried this multiple times and it doesn’t work ???

Hello Duncan Gilson, what model of marathon do you have? It is important to know, because there are some different technics at different models for coding a handheld transmitter. At downloads.sommer.eu/?category=1&sub-category=12 you will find the installation instructions of all our models. What if my light is green and not red what do i do

Hello Matic, a green LED means that your operator has the radio frequency FM 434.42 MHz. Please check the type plate. You need a hand-held transmitter from SOMMER with radio frequency FM 434.42 MHz in order to program it to the operator. Best regards Your SOMMER Team
