Actually he's gonna go find her. He gave her his red eye so that he can find her. It's not really a sad ending. But I love this so much 😭💘

I know Lee seung gi is a singer, but in this drama you forget the actor and complety think of him as the character, you forget all about Lee seung gi and only think about Son Oh Gong, . It is one on my favorite dramas, Kudos, to the actors.......

He gave her his eye so he can see where she is and find her, so if you just found that out like me and we’re crying about this show for like 6 months, were at peace now, he will find her, my sister filed for a season 2 of this show so there is a slight chance we will get a season 2💛💛

If they cannot produce Hwayugi 2, can they make a romcom drama for the two? It should be hilarious. We are really clamoring for another tandem OYS/LSG. Nothing matches their acting, the OYS look of love is so amazing. She really has expressive eyes.

She's really good and versatile. In my opinion, one of her most impressive roles is in Come back Mister. She is really convincing in playing a middle aged thugish man who is reborn in the body of a young woman. You almost forget that in reality she actually is a young woman...

hwayugi has such a special place in my heart. These edits still making me tear up 5 years later. Seung gi has a tendency to play characters that hurt my heart! haha great actor

Acabei de terminar de ver e eu amei muito , eu espero muito que tenha 2 temporada , só achei sacanagem a Seon Mi ter morrido eu tava torcendo que os dois acabassem juntos no final , minha teoria é que se tiver 2 temporada , como ele foi para o submundo atrás dela para traze-la de volta , creio que os dois ficaram juntos. Kdrama television shows that I have watched have only ever been one series. Making a second series serves no purpose. The first series was wonderful, it’s one of my favourites why would you want a follow up? Sequels rarely equal the first, so best left as is. And anyway, although the ending wasn’t the happy ever after we might have wished for, the ending finished on a suitable note - Son O Gong gave Samjang one of his red eyes, we all know he’ll go to the ends of the earth to find her, why spoil it by creating a long drawn out saga ... this is one for our imagination and dreamtime. Me? I don’t want a second series, I would prefer to be left to dream.

@ElsieRacite OUTSTANDING video! Thank You!! excellent song choice and edits. I'm engrossed in this drama to the point where I'm watching it days in a row. Up to Epi 17-18 and bracing myself for the highly foreshadowed ending. At least I know now that they both fully surrender to their love. What more can you ask for? they are such a great on-screen match. Excellent casting and drama. I highly recommend (for English speaking audiences, you can find this under "A Korean Odyssey." currently on Netflix 4/2022)

Have watched this before and rewatching it again. The ending was sad with O-gong searching different worlds for his love. I don’t understand why people plead and beg “Oh please make a season 2, oh pretty please!” It’s not going to happen. As much as we might like to see our characters back again, sequels rarely are as good as the original. Here we have a perfectly good story let’s not ruin it by trying to do it all over again with a second series.
