One of the biggest annoyances, in my opinion, is that any Korean female who sings well automatically is compared to Sohyang. I think it's just the international Sohyang fans, but I digress. Everyone should know how good Son Seungyeon is by now, her analysis is like over a year old. Resonance is in her blood, literally(her mom literally can cut through at well).

Ailee have better HV and Son have better mixed. Ailee's mixed is too chesty while Son is more balance. But i love both

It’s so amazingly crazy how you can hear how powerful her belts are, but when you look at her sing them, it looks so easy for😭 Her and Sohyang are really my vocal goals. I want to be an amazing vocalist like them😭

Her resonance intensity reaches F#5 and is consistent at the same time. Even though the higher notes had no resonance, she kept her belt in good and excellent position. She is a talented singer that is hard to find. Why does South Korea only have singers like any other galaxy other than this planet? So Hyang too.

I really hope she's developing her head voice. It doesn't sound bad but not as supported as her belting range. She is still definitely one of the best singers in Korea! That Bb5 at 9:06 was insane. o_o

I really don't understand why she is not a great solo artist. She only has like two solo projects or recordings. She mostly sings Korean drama theme songs. She seems to be tied up in some terrible Korean slave recording contract. This woman should be world wide Phenomenon. She would put to shame all these singers like Beyonce, Perry, Hudson, Clarkson. They would all run for cover if she hosted an American music award. It isn't just her technique & range, but her ability to express so much emotion, heart and soul.

Her resonance and power "Not just in belting" is SO GREAT, unlike so hyang that doesn't resonate that much when phrasing regular notes, she ROCKS!!! And her powerful voice and consistent power in phrasing, belting and growling is SO MUCH!!! I "PREFER HER OVER SO HYANG" cause she's so emotional in any notes that she sing. But so hyang is still the best in BELTING.

I feel like the only thing to work on would be her mix. I think it could still use some head as it can get quite shouty. The head voice would get better on its own after that.
