Awesome that the military gave him some time off from deployment to visit his father. I cannot imagine the turmoil the son went through being so dar from home while his father's health was declining.

I am thankful this son's superiors let him see his father, ALS is a horrendous way to die and i am sure this father was grateful for his son's presence

As someone who lost a parent to ALS I can't tell you how incredible this was to watch.

While watching this video, I'm thinking how fortunate we are to only have to wear a face mask. This honor parade, was really heartwarming. Of course, it really gets real. When his son gets out of the squad car, goes straight to his dad. 💔❤🇺🇲🙏
