Aah the good old Sonata Arctica. I remember how I used to listen theese songs as I was growing up, during my teenage years. This band really defined the musical preferences. I don't think people understand the true magnitude of this song. A graven image is an idol or shrine made for worship. This song is recording the life of someone who worshiped music, as if it was a god. At least, this is my own interpretation. If that was the true meaning that they meant for this song, I don't think it could have been more perfect. I still come to tears sometimes when I hear this song, because I myself have a deep love for music.

ah, my good old SA... I can't get into their music after Unia. Still one of my favorite bands from their first 4 albums.

In 2010, my life was in the bin. By extraordinary good luck, things turned around and now my life is great. Throughout that whole time, this beautiful song echoed through the hallways of my mind.
