+keefy My experience was rather the friendzone. I don't know why I heared things from women, that they would never, ever tell their boyfriends. Worst thing is when they fall for an arsehole and then come to me to cry themselves out.I have to admit though that the ones I fancy most are about the worst possible matches too.
@keefygee558 жыл бұрын
edi Ahh such is life. Some men are arseholes and yet women can not help themselves, they are just attracted to arseholes. Maybe not all their lives, but enough to get hurt by them. It is good that they feel you are a good listener and that they can trust you. Be happy and be yourself and don't be too shy. When you feel the time is right, tell her how you feel about her. You could be surprised.
@thordskjrpe22278 жыл бұрын
+keefy we usually seek love where we can't get it. They are attracted to assholes because they desire to receive love from them, in the same way that some people desire love from the women that are attracted to assholes. I think it's an unconscious desire to heal our inner parents, to be attracted to beings similar to our own parents and try to "fix" them because that gives us the validation and approval we unconsciously seek that our parents couldn't give to us. We would "finally be acknowledged and fully loved". Or so we think.
@keefygee558 жыл бұрын
Thord Skjærpe I know some women that are "In Love" with arseholes. They seem to think that they can change that person, even after he has punched her and thrown her across the crowded bar. One of the more common traits of a arsehole is to find excuses not to work and to plan how to get money off their partner. I am not sure of your 'Parent' thesis but I know one relationship where this could apply. I suppose at the end of the day there are possibly thousands if not 10s of thousands ideas whereby a persons boyfriend or husband behaves like an idiot on speed A man's wife / girlfriend is capable of acting like a buttholenn

He mentions following this woman home to make sure she's safe, even though she doesn't know he does it. He's shy and turns his head away to make sure she doesn't notice him watching her at work. Even so, he kinda hopes she does catch him. He's so obsessed. Every time he looks at her, he sees his own reflection, and is confused by her not showing any interest in return (show some pity!). He points out that she acts like Dana, a character from other songs that really bring the whole story together. "I used to hope you'd come back, but not anymore Dana." Letter to Dana is him repeatedly writing to Dana about everything that happens in her life, even though she clearly doesn't want to hear from him and never responds. She eventually dies, and he calls it a good day and writes about it in his diary instead. That suggests he never sent any of the other letters about her father or mother dying, etc. He obviously knew a lot about the events in her life, even though he wasn't part of it. Maybe he was stalking her too, and after her death, turned his attention onto this waitress instead? Tallulah lost patience with him, and dated the drummer from his band. It's also an obsessive song. People are saying this song is about "unrequited love" but he is simply an obsessive creep stalking a waitress who doesn't know or care who he is. Kinda like "Every Breath You Take" from Sting. And judging by one line in Tallulah, there is a risk he might even hurt her: I lost my patience once, so do you punish me now? I'll always love you, no matter what you do.
@OdinComposer8 жыл бұрын
Interesting points. Now the question is, what is the singer's standing on this obsessiveness? Is he lucid enough to have written those songs with the understanding that this behaviour is destructive and ridiculus, or does it reflect his own inexperienced emotions? I'd expect the latter from a power metal band that makes cringy lyrics about wolfs. This song too sounds so horribly earnest and most of the fans seem to take it that way as well, saying shit like "this is me right in a nutshell". You obviously have some knowledge of this band, what do you think?
@KarstenJohansson8 жыл бұрын
I don't think the music is autobiographical. SA's albums tend to be on the mythical side, and the protagonist is either at odds with himself, tormented by someone else, or both simultaneously. Wolf and Raven suggests that he is aware that he brings it upon himself, but can't make it stop. In these songs surrounding Dana and his compulsions, he clearly feels he is the victim and doesn't understand why he is treated the way he is. The protagonist is a man fighting his own demons, and failing.
@py3.148 жыл бұрын
Well Tony has alot of women in many of his song, and yes it sounds like he is telling his storyline through song, but, in real life he is married so long ago when he was 20 or just a lil more. and im wondering who is he married to...?
