What a great reaction, I’m glad you enjoyed the song. I mentioned the song in my comment a little while ago, so thanks for doing this, one of my many, many Sonata favourites. When I first heard the song, it was one of those punch in the gut kinds of songs that Sonata has quite a few of. It’s so poignant, beautiful and sad. I love your examples and parallels. You are so right about the greed and nothing being sacred, us having to go and force open some oysters when we already have an abundance of everything. If it was the poor of the world who had to resort to oysters to survive it would be different, but that’s not it at all. And the earth will survive, the time of humankind on earth is just a blink of an eye in the history of time, but like you say it still doesn’t give us the right to treat it with such disrespect, abuse without any thought, destroy entire species. Why can’t we see the beauty and awesomeness of what we have been given. Blind for the love all around him. Great video! If you're into story telling specifically, a soul-crushing ballad from Sonata Arctica I'd recommend: Draw Me. And specifically the Live version. It's truly an incredible performance! Tony said in an interview once: "My friend's dad used to draw when he was younger and he drew a big painting of his own father and soon after that his father died. Then he drew his own brother and shortly after he also died. After this he decided he will never draw again - he just won't"

By the way, I can highly recommend the Doom metal band Draconian, they have similar themes, but in general Draconian are more than worth listening to
