When you see him play you do not get the feeling he is a bassoonist that gets to play solo some time, but that he is presenting the piece as a soloist. The bassoon needs guys like him.

Si la musique de Dubois sonne parfois un peu "conservatoire", ici l'inspiration va chercher loin et c'est quelquefois sublime.
