Thanks for this. Im looking to get a the GRX2 version as my bike packer / winter / tour bike and am weighing up titanium vs aluminium. I have a 'fast for me' Ti bike and love it so im swaying towards the Ti. I fancy mud guards and a rack for tours so this looks to fit the bill

I had a Kinesis Tripster before this which was great but bikepacking was wearing the paintwork down. Ti is so low maintenance when it comes to that, and it's been a great ride so far.

You're in the rising sun country park for some of this. Had an amazing very close encounter with a ufo in there a few years ago, it flew out of the woods behind the Asda at Benton and started searching the park with a spotlight, it saw me eventually and then pissed off in total silence, it broke Newtons third law when it left. Just to be clear it was within a hundred yards, why it was behind the Asda at Benton I haven't a fucking clue. Got a Spa Elan Ti and a Ribble endurance TI. love them they are my last bikes. The Sonder looks great. Ps I live in Lemington, my ex lived in Benton.

Grand review! Quick question...what is the reasoning for the comfort comment re carbon wheels with this frame? Just curious as I'm looking at one of these bikes but Sonder do a carbon wheel option too. Cheers

I found the Hunt Four Season Gravel X-Wide wheels a little harsh, and the carbon wheelset just felt more comfortable. Lots of reviewers love the word "compliant". I prefer "cushty"!

Thanks for the comment! Yes, I definitely considered front suspension when buying the frame, as I know from speaking to other owners that it can accommodate a low travel fork comfortably. There will no doubt come a time when I'll be too old for drop bars and I'll pop some flat bars on this build and probably fit a suspension fork at the same time.

What dropper post and shim are you using, I’m looking to buy one for my Camino Ti with my next cycle to work voucher, along with a redshift stem. (I’m running rival axs)

When I do run the dropper on the Camino I'm using a Rock Shox AXS Reverb, which is a 30.9 as that's the seat tube width on my Evil Chamois Hagar that the dropper usually stays on. I have to use a 31.6 shim for it to fit the Camino seat tube.

I got a cheap alloy one off eBay. If you Google you'll get a ton of results for different brands. I think from memory mine might be a Brand X which was less than a fiver.
