really cool and interesting to hear a version of this song with big drums. the original recording was so tight bc the cymbals and shells were isolated.

I've read that the drums were recorded twice: first drums (no cymbals), then cymbals only

I love that!!! Thank you so much! It’s all about chipping away at it. I wasn’t able to play this one for a LONG time and then I spent a whole lot more time trying to get it sounding better and better. All about just making gradual progress and staying inspired! Good luck!

If you havent seen dave grohl play this live, pleas go watch a video of it. He beats the drums like they owe him money. His playing style is what makes him my favorite drummer of all time, aside from his immaculate writing.

Kyle is hands down one of the best drummers I have seen, definitely the best to grace KZfaq. I been playing 20 years or so and I have my teenage daughter kicking around on her own set now. WOULD LOVE TO SEE A VIDEO SHOWING YOUR FAVORITE KIT SETUP KYLE!!
