UrCompnionCube 02 I am Chinese, and watched this drama in about 2000, my sister and my nanny cried for last queen of Korea many times. China and Korea suffered a lot of Japanese invasion, we suffered the same so we could understand that sorrow in the same way.

insecure music lovers are really ridiculous when they compare kpop with this. music isn't there to compare music is different every where music is there to suit everybody's taste music makes everyone feel better, different sounds , different languages, different everything ! and music isn't suppose to be one and music isn't one . so a true lover of music should appreciate music of all kind and respect the fact that music is different. music is to be loved in its All colors

whenever i hear pansori i am always blown away especially at parts where they sing no lyrics and just screams beautiful notes loudly and fades into soft end before belting into another huge note, wow just wow. like they're screaming their sorrows but aat the same time expressing their courage..

@Harry Fishnuts Gugak means national music that covers singing, dancing, storytelling, and musical instruments. Minyo is singing. Pansspri is a style oglf musical storytelling. Both fall under gugak

Its Gugak Fusion. Gugak literally translates to national music. Traditional Gugak is the genre that is composed of just Korean instruments where as fusion just combines "western" instruments with the Korean musical instruments. Pansori is just a drum and a performer singing a Capella which tells a story to the audience which encourages them to participate. Hope this helps :3

Woshifaguoren As a KPop fan I disagree. This I felt was as good as the KPop songs I enjoy which is why I love listening to her. Other songs in this episode of Jo SuMi special are also quite amazing like Son JunHo's (with 1 other singer) Son Of The Moon & especially Im TaeKyung's (with 3 other singers) I Can't Say Goodbye which was the eventual winner & almost broke Ali's record on the show of highest score but fell short by just 1 point.

I've listened many versions of this song, including Eunji's and Hwasa's, and I have concluded that Song Sohee's is the definitive version, bar none. This is the version that I go back to every once in a while
