bagged the Rubaru Mr India-United Continents and Best national costume title at the recently concluded Rubaru Mr India 2020-2021 pageant held in Goa on Thursday.
Rubaru Mr India is the country’s biggest annual pageant for men.
A resident of Talui village in UKhrul district and belonging to the Tangkhul Naga community, Songashim, 25, will now represent India at the Mr United Continents event which will be held later this year.
An alumnus of St Joseph College in Bengaluru, Songashim said: “I believe in myself and I don’t really care about winning or losing in this competition. But what I cared about is no matter what, I will give my best.”
