My latest Thailand Travel vlog is the second day of the Songkran Holiday in Pattaya! We have had a great time over the last couple days, but this episode shows a hotel switch and give a little info on the hotels I have been staying in. There wasn't much happening for Songkran in the way of the water fights, but we had an awesome day at the beach and then went to tree town for some dinner, then a night out in Pattaya's famous walking street to check out the nightlife.

Songkran - also known as the Water Splashing Festival - is a celebration to mark the start of the Buddhist New Year. Buddha images are bathed, and younger Thais show respect to monks and elders by sprinkled water over their hands.

i am in Ubon, there was no water fight up here either.. In fact the 2 or 3 days of Songkran was fairly quiet. No parties. Several check points people from Bangkok and else where were back here vacationing with family but as I said most part very quiet.
