I still consider myself an intermediate guitarist even tho I lost a fingertip. I had to acknowledge come chord shapes I can no longer do but I adjusted and now use my pinky way more than I ever did before. It also helped switching to alternative open tunings and learning Midwest emo riffs

Sure if u play comfortably numb without any vibrato on bends and do half step bends on frets above instead of step and a half it is easy but it is a pretty hard solo to play well even for master guitarists

I'm going to have to call you out on thunderstruck. You pussied out. It's supposed to be all picked. It's deceptively trickier that way. Not for me, an intergalactic shred deity, of course, but for most people.

I am not even happy because I easily learned those song so I am above intermediate. But because i finally found a good version of “shape of my heart”

Thunderstruck is easier than most of the stuff in your beginner list, and putting it in a similar category to snow is wild

Be careful of bending the string out of tune like that on Snow. It's a common newbie mistake, but as your ears get better those "little bit out of tune" issues can send you over the edge. Also, check your intonation, it's a bit out. Or your tuning is slightly off, hard to be sure.

If you are a beginner, study this hard. Do NOT get pissed off or depressed. Don't just try to play what he showed. Seek out what you CAN play in the song and come back to work on harder parts as you grow.

Today I learned I am not an intermediate guitar player.

As someone who’s apparently an intermediate player after 3 weeks of playing, I’m pleasantly surprised by this

The only one I can’t play is snow, and I think it’s more of the fact I have 2 kids and work 60 hours a week than it is me actually not being able to play it. Back when my first born was an infant I was still able to play for at least 45 minutes to an hour after work, but now when I walk through the door from work I just get attacked by two toddlers who wanna play with their dad and I can’t tell them no; no matter how tired I am, or if I just wanna go play the guitar and smoke a bong pack. Once they both start school I am planning on getting back on the horse, but for the next year and a half I’m kinda stuck only getting to play every 2-3 months when I get a free weekend and the kids are taking a nap. I love my kids and wouldn’t trade them for anything, but it really isn’t possible to have hobbies when your as busy as I and many others are on a daily basis, even my weekends are filled with park days, family events, and getting clothes and shit washed and ready for the next work week. I basically gotta pray for rain to get to stay home on a Saturday or Sunday, and even then I spend more time being a human jungle gym than I do playing the guitar and catching up on lost sleep.
