If you worry about the future of the planet, let Harry and Chris lighten your mood with their optimistic comedy-rap-jazz take on conservation.
A World Poetry Slam champion and an internationally celebrated jazz musician, Harry Baker and Chris Read have sold out three runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, with subsequent tours bringing light, love and laughter to a world that needs it more than ever.

At TEDxExeter 2019 our theme was The Art of the Possible. We’re living in an age of polarity where many communities are feeling more and more divided, against a backdrop of increasingly populist politics which risk dividing us even further. Our talks offer an opportunity to pause and consider the future we want to create, the possibilities that may be obscured in the busyness of our everyday lives, and how we might get there.

TEDxExeter CURATOR: Claire Kennedy - @clairekennedy__
PRODUCTION: First Sight Media - @firstsightmedia We are thrilled to welcome Harry Baker back to TEDxExeter. Harry first appeared at TEDxExeter in 2014 and his fantastic performance "A love poem for lonely prime numbers" has been viewed over 1.5 million times on TED.com.
This year Harry is perfroming with Chris Read. Harry and Chris are childhood friends turned comedy-rap-jazz pioneers. A World Poetry Slam champion and an internationally celebrated jazz musician, the duo have sold out three runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, with subsequent tours bringing light, love and laughter to a world that needs it more than ever. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

The way things are is not the way they have to be, No body's asking you to save the world singlehandedly, Tomorrow will bring worries of it's own, But with every step today there is less to go

Pure genius! I love the flimsiness of the best possible defence of plastic straws and cutlery. Here’s hoping our great great great grandchildren are so forgiving...
