Im just here to say that there is no song like After Dark. I have been searching for songs like it for a bit longer then 7 years. Its so unique, so special and so likeable, my wife and i used it on our opening dance at our wedding.

My crush didn't liked Afterdark when I first showed her. She assumed I have a bad taste in musics like these(synthwaves). Tbh her statement clearly made me not liking her. You did a fantastic job. Finding these songs alone must have taken a LOT of time. You did a great job at editing too, putting them in kind of an order, they go well one after another. Description is really well put together - the time stamps, your explanation of why some songs are not present in this playlist, even including name of the background scene - this is a dream for viewers, but you already knew that, so to the point. If you could, in your next playlist, please include links to the videos/songs that you're using. Sometimes when I try to find the exact same version of the song that's in the description, be it slowed or in reverb, i can't seem to find it anywhere on youtube. I know that it's not necessary but my lazy ass wants it. Anyway great job, wish you success in your youtube carrier. Cheers mate.

it may not be just a genre, but a whole psychological feeling. Listening to some of these songs I've been able to feel and sense the past, present, and future all at once in a way, its very challenging to describe but I've found looking into "expanded consciousness" can help you figure out what im talking about. something these 80s style music seems to pull off greatly

pretty much most 80's underground bands mostly Russian ones always go with the aesthetic that incorporates synths and deep vocals, it's quite a fragment from the past

Tbh I don't know what's the genre's true name is I wouldn't call it synthwave cuz there's a difference since sw tends to Weigh more on the "techno" side this one is more "dreamy" and resonantic
