Hard telling what’s true and what’s not. God’s Country was written by a guy from St. Joseph, MO in 2010, he put it on KZfaq shortly after. Blake Shelton comes out with that song (basically the same song) and the guy tried taking him to court. Also, Blake Shelton said in an interview in 2015 he thought of the chorus when he was fishing and immediately wrote the rest. Lies.
