And yes, I know certain sets inside Mad Space CANNNN be done with certain characters. But editing Mad Space is shockingly hard. It's not like any other stage. And as such we deemed it best to just lock the character type

@@EpicDuskk shadow didn't die he removed inhibitors which caused him to use too much of his stamina he also didn't die either he was alive in heroes and other games after this he never died just got amnesia.

@@jamesday9104 The inhibitor rings being taken off was a Sonic X thing, you never see them get removed in any official version of the original game.

34:07 The game actually foreshadows this during the fight. Both in dialogue and mechanically. Shadow is destroying his body maintaining the super state (Sonic phrases it as Shadow “disappearing”). He also has progressively fewer rings when you switch to him later in the fight, a trait not shared with Sonic.

Is it pronounced Gemerl or Jemerl? I legitimately have no idea and really wanna know. Has it ever been stated? AFAIK, there's no voice acting in the Sonic Advance games aside from action lines in gameplay.

Also, “Sword Shadow” is Sir Lancelot. I’d STRONGLY recommend at least watching Sonic and The Black Knight’s cutscenes, it’s Sonic’s characterization at its peak.

5:05 Maybe the mod has "type-based" shortcuts instead of character-based; so yeah, for a Speed Type character (Sonic, Shadow, Amy, Metal Sonic) they had to remove the door because Metal Sonic can't Spin Dash towards those robots. 7:17 Gemerl from Sonic Advance 3.

I like the zelda ones too! They're different vibes though. Zelda ones are more of a challenge run, This is more of a silly fun playthrough. The levels dont get much harder with different characters.
