Oh yes, most definitely. I got to watch that movie very recently and I was like... *they actually did a pretty nice job!* Expected worse but it was a refreshing, new take on the "Sonic among humans" trope. Hoping for more references to the old games in the potential upcoming movies. And, as much as it's been rehashed to the point of exhaustion, I'd still love to see their take on the whole Ark story arc. That's just something absolutely iconic.

I'm hoping for Amy and Metal with Tails and hopefully the intro of the Death Egg at either the end or in a post scene. Why? Sonic 2 and CD were developed at the same time and all those elements are in them. I'm honestly hoping they hold off on the Emeralds until 3, when they became a lot more than just a bonus stage reward and we get Knuckles then as well, maybe the Sonic team (ha) going off Earth to Mobius and Angel Island.

I can't decide exactly how I'd want this to appear in the next Sonic film. My two thoughts are: A: Blaring from the speakers of the returning triumphant Eggman at the head of a robot army as they pour through portals. B: As part of a montage of Eggman auditioning for a theme song from the citizens of wherever he's managed to conquer. This is the one of the few he rocks out to during the montage - "The Maybe pile! You get to live!"

Eggman is my favorite villain of all time. He can be the perfect balance between comedic and an actual menacing threat. He has the brains and technology to take over the world, and yet he wishes to build his bases out of casinos and amusement parks.
