Wait a tame explanation for the first image is, they’re working together on a mission but they have to traverse lava. That’s what the Orange in the background is. It’s lava. Shadow has to use his rocket boots to float them over the lava. And has to carry sonic. And that’s why they’re shiny and have red cheeks. They’re hot and sweaty. From the lava. 🔥
