As someone who started drawing two weeks ago and felt a lot of insecurities about my sketching and lineart, I was happy for this. I'd been doing SFM years ago and I had a good understanding of lighting and shading, so those skills were great, it was just my lineart - "oh, these proportions loom bad" or something. "Am I doing this indent right?" kind of thing. But what I love is that even someone like me can do a sketch and feel "well, I can do another one to get it right," then I feel as though I have to do lineart because I don't wanna sketch 3 times maybe, then I'll say in my head "right, this is the lineart part. Better nail it this time." Let's say it still doesn't go right. Well, you have ANOTHER chance to get it ironed out with the blending. Suddenly, you still don't like it. That lineart is making it look like ass still. Well, what I love is that you have another chance to fix it in the shading and lighting part (I know blending is sorta that part too, but hard lights and the like maybe), and you can just straight up delete your lineart and continue with your colours. Long story short, I'm just happy that someone as new and as bad as me at sketching can make up for my lack of experience with time. It's so nice to know that I can make things good if I really stick my nose in it.

Sometimes it depends on the kind of brush you use. I have a chunky brush that works great for lineless work. But your art style is just as cool Keno. Everyone has their niche for style.

+Parede Luke If you're using SAI, set the brush stabilizer to S-6 or S-7.
