That sounds like something Tails in any official canon would never do. If anything, every time he’s flanderized into a short-tempered coward who roots for the villains (and his friends/rivals and himself) to win against Sonic (Archie (Knuckles the Echidna #26 - Sonic the Hedgehog #179 because of his creepy crush on the hatable Fiona Fox) to win against Sonic because they think he has less respect for women than any other politically incorrect scumbag in the world.

Consider that Sonic can move ANY part of himself at super speed, not just his legs. Plus, if he has space for a step forward, he can put his legs into the punch too. This is why his forward smash is so strong in Smash Bros.

The reason why Blaze_The_Cat's scream is not very loud it's because when Sonic struck blaze he knocked her out at supersonic speed. Blaze was unconscious when she began to fall and regained consciousness midfall which only then she proceeded to scream as she realized she was falling, thus the fadded scream.
