what would the custom boss have been like?

​@@That0neDude I could still make it someday, but what the hey. The general idea would be three phases. It would be floating for one, getting rid of the death egg-robo animations.The feet sprite and art would be repurposed for a traditional giant Tails head, likely on a chain like neck that would attack Sonic, similar to the mystic cave crawlton caterkiller badnik (the code to replicate it is in the game already). Once that's destroyed the body itself would lower and you would have to destroy that. There would be various other boss tails explosions I was thinking of using, bullets that act as Tails surrogates? Perhaps a horizontal sweep? One that slowly goes the across the screen in a circle like a giant orbinaut? With the body destroyed you would think you are done, but then there is phase 3. See that piece on the body that looks like a repurposed yellow head holding the tails? THAT is supposed to be the secret phase 3. Would be more nimble to hit. My dream attack to program for this final fight, and the one I wanted most to do would be a giant explosion tornado that slowly sucks the player in, maybe even other objects from off screen. A side idea would be turning phase 3 into falling in a vertical shaft escaping the death egg, like the 3rd world (planet scorch) boss of Ristar. The plot would be whatever caused Tails to have explosion powers would mutate him into a monster (Both Sonic and Robotnik would be in danger) and if not stopped/turned back would doom the world below, let alone the galaxy. That's all if I go back to it of course. Been having trouble with adding custom music to Sonic 2, and without that there isn't really any drive to add stuff like custom graphics and make unique zones like I want. A full Sonic Tailsplosion hack would have a post apocalypse theme with strange mutant enemies and zones with names like "Mutant Night,"

I think that is the corpse of tails fused into the death egg robot because, when BTG defeated silver sonic, tails lost, and that implies he died, when the death egg robot was being prepared the corpse fused, and it made that thing.
