Those Sonic racing toys are still being sold in certain places. That's how few people bought them. So many are left over.

Honestly I would love to see more car videos with sonic, all stars racing is a certified banger. The die cast collection from jakks is super underrated. As well as those Jazawrse cars they made for the 3 inch figures, those were my childhood dream! Love to see vids on those one day

You should check out the meccano sonic sets. They aren’t the best and do look kinda like toys but they are good scale and the figures and cars look good. They are brick style sets but maybe you’ll like them.

Still surprised we haven't had a sonic racing game without cars since sonic r on saturn / PC or if you count them; sonic rivals 1 and 2 on psp. For a franchise about the worlds fastest running blue hedgehog, they really don't want him running with his friends... However I know ppl say Sonic is just too fast for anyone to race. This is true but if eggman either stole sonic's speed or decided to bring back the "slow-down shoes" from sonic labyrinth, that problem is solve and sonic has another reason to race. Not to mention generations gave us a spinball/spindash drift for corners that works like a car so I can see that being used as well. Along with sonic having a large cast of characters, it would be perfect! Do the crash racing route and release new models/textures for each racer so every character can appear! Why put sonic in a car? It's like taking away mario's ability to jump normally and has to charge each jump for some reasons. He can still do it, but why add extra steps?

I remember more than a decade ago sega got backlash when all stars racing was announced bc Sonic was in a car, but Sega's response was just "Sonic wanted to the race to be fair between everyone" which is actually... kind of in character. Sonic would absolutely own a sports/racing car but only use it competing with others. But yeah in terms of just Sonic racing sonic characters, they all can race on foot. All of them are p fast. Sonic R rly had something going there but was bogged down by bad control.

@@TheShnizNite Tbh I find the fan outrage even funnier when you realise sonic drift 1 and 2 were a thing. Nobody complained back then about sonic being in a car, i'm guessing ppl forgot or didn't mind it back then. ^^
