That's what I've been saying the cutscenes should've been fixed and include character interactions from the ds cuz apparently there are two versions of the story so a bit of re-writting would've been highly appreciated

Honestly, I think that Sonic Forces needs a remake cause it was a hit but some people didn't like the game. I think they need to fix the graphics and the cut scenes and make all of the characters payable

OG Colors was one of my favorite childhood games, but Ultimate barely keeps pace with it. The customization options and extra content is cool and all, but the graphics aren’t a big enough upgrade for the time period, and the loading times can be _atrocious._ (30 seconds to a minute in some cases, for levels that sometimes take less than that.) The new OST is pretty hit-or-miss (why did they have to do that to Sweet Mountain - where is that iconic brass?!?) and while I like the idea of the Tails Save thematically, taking out the risk of a Game Over made an already pretty easy game even more so.

@@mastertjt56 including the original soundtrack along with new renditions really isn’t anything special anyways - that’s kind of typical for remakes like this. And I fail to see how giving the option to listen to the old music makes the faceplant some of the new tracks took less sad to listen to. If I hadn’t recently revisited the original game shortly before Ultimate came out, I don’t think I would’ve recognized the Sweet Mountain tracks because the loud, blaring brass that was a huge part of the world’s identity was completely gone. Not all of the music is bad - I actually quite like the new rendition of Tropical Resort - but the new stuff leaves a lot to be desired in some places. It even comes up in the video when he’s talking about the opening theme.

@@xraenon1664 also no that isn't a typical thing for remakes to do because most of the time they COMPLETELY get rid of the old music for the new versions. The ONLY remakes that have done this so far are Sonic Colors Ultimate, Super Mario RPG Remake, and the recent Monkey Ball Games. I personally think all remakes should do this going forth, just in case fans don't vibe the new ost

@@reggielacey2235 Used too, Colors is much more divided now especially after Ultimate. People criticizing the bad story and too much 2d in the 3D Sonic game. And a lot of people don't like the wisp either.

The biggest reason people hated ultimate was because it was a buggy broken mess in launch which is pretty inexcusable for a port

Sonic Colors Ultimate was fine imo. I experienced ONE glitch throughout my entire playthrough, idk if people went out their way to find them or they had bad luck. Besides that, I like the customization for Sonic in this game. I think it was neat and deserves to come back for other games. The remixes or "new" ost isn't bad as people make it out to be. The Metal Sonic battles should've been better or properly add him into the story. Then finally, the new wisp Jade (or Ghost) wasn't well placed. It's basically hover but can go through walls in certain areas. Overall, the game got too much hate (although the original did fine)

Sonic CD. - Would love to see a ground up remaster/remake. Modern remixes of the tracks, new stages with the same type of theme but a modern polish. The time travel would be dope. I can never tell when Loki's opinions on sonic games are legit or not. While I agree that unleashed is one of me favorites, Sonic 06 was just horrendously bad by every stretch of the imagination and had no redeeming qualities whatsoever other than introducing Silver who has been completely forgotten by Sega lol

From an unbiased opinion, colors was a brand new start and it was pretty good. This was one of the games that saved sega. But when blind squirrel was in charge of remastering thus game, they butchered this game and went on hiatus like a dad going out for the milk.
