X, or better known as Sonic.exe, is Creepypasta's main main antagonist of the same name and its sequel "Sonic.exe / Round 2", and is the main general antagonist of the series. Sonic.exe is an energy-based interdimensional entity that has an original Sonic the Hedgehog CD-ROM, taking the form of the main character. Then he proceeds to "kill" the game characters before attacking and removing the soul / kill the person who plays his game.
Biography
The original story of Sonic.exe focuses on Tom, a young man who was a big fan of Sonic the Hedgehog, especially in older games. He claimed that he had not played any damaged or hacked games before, although he admitted that he did not want to after an experience he had.
He then recounted his experience, saying how he received a CD and a follow-up letter from his friend Kyle, begging him to destroy the disc before it was "too late" and never played the game.
Ignoring his friend's warnings, Tom played the game and began to encounter strange and somewhat disturbing phenomena, from a title card with an evil-looking Sonic with bloody eyes and bright pupils with a wide smile to the presence of a screen. File selection similar to that of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, with red background and chilling music.
As he chose the only character available Tails and began the first stage titled "HILL ACT 1", Tom continued to find more evidence that there was something wrong with the game, namely the abundant amount of dead animals all killed in horrible ways. and eventually finding Sonic at the end of the level, completely stopped and with his eyes closed.
When Tails tried to get his attention during a scene by patting his shoulder, Sonic's eyes popped open, identical to the evil Sonic on the title screen before turning black, with the message "Hello. Do you want to play with me?" At the next level, "HIDE AND SEEK", Tom witnessed Sonic stalking Tails, the latter flying despite his inability to do so without a Super shape, before disappearing, teleporting in front of the disturbed fox and killing him and slashing for the black. Tails screams when his throat is cut; A splash of blood is seen coming out of your neck.
Shocked, Tom reads the following message: "You are too slow. Want to try again?". After playing as Knuckles and losing an alleged "boss battle" with Sonic, with Knuckles dying just like Tails, Tom decided to take a break from the game.
However, his rest was plagued by nightmares, with the Tails and Knuckles corrupted and the demonic Sonic, with him waking up in a cold sweat. Returning to the game, Tom chose Dr. Robotnik from the file selection screen and continued with the game.
At the end of the level, Sonic teleported in front of Robotnik before the screen turned to red static. Then a "hyperrealistic" image of Sonic appeared on the screen, with the words "I AM GOD!". This Sonic had bloodshot black and red eyes, a wide smile and sharp, bloodstained teeth. After the game was over, Tom turned to find, to his utter horror, a bloody Sonic plush doll on his bed. Tom's fate is ambiguous (though the official sequence reveals that Tom committed suicide to escape the entity using Sonic's likeness). Kyle was probably Exe's previous victim.
