i respect eggman more than ever before, instead of being happy sonic is dead, he respected him, he placed the most valuable thing to him onto sonics grave as a sign of hope and respect, he was sad and blamed himself for his death, despite not doing anything, this shows mow much sonic changed everyones lives for the better, even in life and death

Its awesome see a sonic.exe game where Metal Sonic is a main character and not an object to sacrifice or totally forgotten, I hope more sonic.exe games do this, specially if a second part of this is completed, Metal deserves his victory and own solo path without relaying on Eggman to survive.

Looking back, my favourite endings out of all of theses types of games has always been the best ending, but it’s more impactful after doing all of the other outcomes, as it prepares you for what’s to come, using all of the knowledge from the other endings to finally beat exe and live to fight another day…

i still feel my theory is right: something forced sonic to stop and get killed, sonic is faster than everything so he would have plenty of chance to escape with mighty and ray, so why didnt he? he had time, but he stood there and didnt move, its like he saw something and wanted to prevent it

Geez, he really talks way too much, playing with his food. 1:20:30 nah, this thing is way more annoying than Sonic, bcs at least Sonic doesn't talk as much Wait that's it? I thought we would have a definitive ending after all of this, not a cliffhanger one, gosh darn it...

This is one of the first sonic.exe games that actually have some sort of sense. This was really well written. Gameplay could be sort of repetitive but the story telling more than makes up for it. Good job to everybody who worked on this and I sincerely hope they’re planning a part 2.

18:36 I’m surprised no one’s come to steal or profit off of the gems in echidna ruins, like they literally grow on trees! Money does grow on trees apparently, and out the ground for this game. Also it’s wild that they didn’t try to slow down for sonic, or give him a boost when he fell. Also, it would be cooler to just have the phantom ruby revive sonic with a corrupted personality instead of something taking over his body. It would make the situation even more personal than before. side note: metal sonic is the ABSOLUTE GOAT blud saved everyone at least once

Robotnik, WTF were you thinking when you placed the phantom ruby, the very object that caused SO much chaos and SO many problems, in Sonic Mania and Forces, out in the open next to Sonic’s grave where any type of natural occurrence like lightning can strike it and can cause the downfall of everyone! That’s so legitimately stupid of you to do. I get you wanted to show your respect and lament the loss of your archenemy, but with the PHANTOM RUBY?! You have NO ONE to blame but yourself for that. Tbh a chilly dog would’ve been more appropriate and personal to sonic. I mean, sonic has no connection with the phantom ruby besides bad memories, while sonic loves chilly dogs. Or at the very least put flowers or rings instead!
