We picked the zodiacs for the characters based on the date of their first appearance in the Sonic franchise (not all may be accurate). For example, Sonic's is 23rd June (Cancer). Amy's is 23rd September (Libra). We will not be working on Episode 2 for a while as our next huge focus will go back to Sonic on Halloween 5. Ah yes I too love that book Mephelis is reading, though I prefer the mother variant. Jokes aside this was a great first episode with good jokes, amazing artwork, great story, metal sonic getting his spotlight back in the beginning, Mephelis being the most dangerous and terrifying sonic villain still to this day.

Just realized Sonic’s outfit kinda reminds me of Prince Adam from _Masters of the Universe._

This was all just amazing! I’m getting so many inspirations at once from Sailor Moon to Saint Saiya which is a really old one. Not to mention you mixed Fantasy AND Sci Fi in a way that makes it cohesive to the in story universe. What I love most about it is the presentation which makes it so much more grand of a feeling. Also, I got flashbacks to Faith when Amy became engaged to Shadow once again. That trope always seems to sneak its way into other stories I’ve noticed. Anyway, this was an AMAZING pilot episode to this story. Thanks for the early birthday present, Tara (June 3rd). And happy beginning of Pride Month everyone!
