Honestly, going from this Rhea into Final Horizons’ Ouranos would be a way more thrilling end to this game. This new Rhea breaks up the formula *just* enough to feel fresh after beating Chaos Island, and doesn’t make the FH Ouranos feel like a jarring jump in style. Well done, I wish I could play this version of Rhea in a full playthrough!

This concept is just amazing! It might be disappointing for a lot of Sonic fans but I think Sega should release mainline Sonic games every 6 or 7 years. With this in mind, Sonic Team can create games that match up to PS exclusives like Spider-man, while also removing flaws like Rhea Island and bad Cyber Space controls. Nice idea honestly, i had something similar regarding Ouranos, since Supreme is out of Sage’s control, he could be looking over in Rhea and Ouranos while he starts attacking on both and chasing you in the later island. Also both of the islands starting to go into a more violet color like what we got for the End in the FH update the more you progress through it. Heck, maybe make Supreme fly with his wings while you climb the towers so he can attack you when you’re way too high. Good job on the ideas, hope to see more

Sonic Frontier should do a DLC Expansion after Final Horizon it should let us explore the hidden ancient ship that was scapted from development.The Expansion pass should feel like Tale of Arise Beyond The Dawn .The DLC Should feel like it expands of Frontiers while add new stuff to the game but too bad Sega is kinda done with Frontiers.

It that the 4th island titan was actually sage because in one of the cgi trailers sonic tried to attack her and there's cut dialogue for sage that basically says that her dad conquer the world and 4th island was probably the most combat forces and the sage boss fight probably was sage summoning enemies and Bosses by portals and the Bosses she goes inside to control them and the last phase of the fight will sage shooting Lazers and the Shield thing + she summoning enemies after that Trower thing that happens in the final game happens.

I know it's a very stretch but it's a possibility.

I was pretty satisfied with Rhea in my own playthrough, but I agree the Kronos Island reusing was disappointing. Given the situation in the story at that time, I'd have liked Rhea to be given its own theme like the others. In-canon, it does start with Forest theme, but thematically I don't the trees should've been so lively. It might start as a healthy forest, but as Sonic clears one tower and searches for the next, the environment declines until it's basically the ruins of Green Gate from Sonic X; tall tree trunks, but no leaves, no soil, no other plant life whatsoever, just a barren remain of what was once a woodland.

Tbh, I reimagined Rhea Island as a Prologue Island before the other bigger islands. But now that I see this video, I think I change my mind. I've got a couple nitpicks, as I do mod this game and this video got me thinking For 1, why would cream be there? The only reason you stated her being there was because she wasn't in other games 2. I think what would make Rhea island more better, while staying truthful to its original way would be like this: Characters: It would be a Sonic, a hullicination version of himself that has no color and is black and white that s inaudible until you collect sonics memory tokens. These ideas arent that good because I made them off the top of my head lol

This is a hot take but I actually think ournos island (you know which one I’m talking about) is the worst. Barely anything, no story, nothing new. Is the same thing again but more of a chore. The only good thing I can say about ournos are the cyberspace but FH are still better. Rhea is still bad but the towers feel good especially from preparing the FH towers. Your idea with the titans interrupting the platforming is a really good idea. Really can be more of a threat.
