I find it fascinating how fast mods for Frontiers have progressed. It hasn't even been two years, and we're already with amazing content in every avenue. Give it a couple years, and Frontiers may even suprass Generations modding with the quality on display

I think I'll never get over the fact that SA2 was the only game to feature Shadow skating really fast by gliding elegantly. It's sorta like how Sonic 06 and Black Knight made Blaze's running animation just some plain rapid stepping as opposed to her long, graceful strides in Rush, only here Sonic Team made Shadow swing his arms and legs like he actually has to put in effort to reach those speeds as opposed to his effortless skating from before.

Roger and Jason are THE definitive voices for Sonic and Shadow, loved how you mixed up the voice lines for the two!

Hearing this weird deep Roger Sonic voice with Shadow is a weird dynamic. It makes Sonic sound like the straight man of the situation. lol

Jason Shadow And Roger Sonic!

While the ice theme is cool, honestly after playing it I'm not into the actual level design all that much; the object placement is really overcluttered with spikes and obstacles, and other level gimmicks are used in a way that generally just feels random. This could've been helped by focusing more on one or two central gimmicks (like the fans and cloud platforms for instance), that get used in increasingly complicated ways as you go, which would still allow for a challenging stage that doesn't just feel cheap and amateurish due to the lack of cohesion. It could also use some type of scripting on some of the loops and corkscrews because it's a bit silly how easily you can just die within a few seconds of starting the level due to how difficult it is to stay in the corkscrew at the start. Maybe that could work if the corkscrew happened later in the stage, but it's so close to the start that you barely have a chance to get your bearings before you have to either react immediately or die (something that wasn't even an issue in the original version of the stage due to Shadow having scripted loops, I might add). This last thing is more of a nitpick but the floating platform spam seems kind of unnecessary, since most of it is already just flat walls and floors it'd work just as well to add custom geometry (or even copy-pasted bits of the main layout) that blends into the existing terrain a bit better. Beyond that this stage has the potential to be fun overall, but the object placement in particular could use some work.

They have the power to remaster the Shadow the Hedgehog game for the Play Station 2 console, but I don't think they will do it, a remastering seems very far away, maybe 50 years from now.

Roger's Sonic & Jason's Shadow are exactly what i want also, yeah this mod is pretty undercooked, the Level design really is not adapted to the boost formula

Sky Troops. One of my favourite Shadow stages. I've played Shadow on my PS2 two years ago, but I pretended to by my Sonic Forces character in this game, due to guns, plus saying my own quotes in all of the stages. I did all of the Hero mission, except Sky Troops. This is the only Dark mission I did, to pretend that my Sonic Forces character is taking down the Egg Fleet.

This makes me think of a fanfiction I wanted to write called “Sonic & Shadow: Doom of Darkness”. It was basically a re-imagining of Shadow 2005 with better characterization and less amnesia, where Sonic & Shadow teamed up to fight Black Doom.

Watching this makes me feel like an absolute noob

Main thing that bothers me bout frontiers is the homing attack. I hate how stiff it looks like in Adventure 2 and the "Boost 2 Win" games you'd like trick off the enemy and move towards whatever direction you're going but on frontier you just kinda bash into the enemy and pop directly up kinda and it just dont look as satisfying to me lol idk if anyone else thinks this too????

Shadow makes comeback... Give him what he deserves. Feel like I haven't seen Shadow since Sonic Adventure 2 and Shadow the Hedgehog. I know he was in Sonic 06 but idk if he was playable or not. Need a voice mod for Shadow for Frontiers, overhaul voice mod for the ENTIRE game for the Shadow playable mod. For cutscenes, etc. Would be dope. Maybe get Sonic and Shadow to fight the boss like in Adventure 2. :)
