I didn't finish the game yet, but maybe the lack of "boost to weak spot" is because Eggman was not the boss x) Also I didn't expect the game to have several Super Sonic fights instead of being the final boss like in previous games

super sonic has always been a dragon ball ripoff and they're finally embracing that instead of just making him ram into the enemy over and over

i did a lot of tries, and when i say a lot, i really meant it xD took me like 30-40 tries in order to do all of the boss and sonic mechanics on a single run, since some of them depend on the boss hp, it was pretty hard to keep the fight flowing without killing him quickly, also, trying to parry the lasers from his back is VERY difficult and inconsistent, so even if i didnt plan it, i did planed most of the stuff in this video (except the 2nd hit, my idea was to take only one hit just to show sonics animation, but giganto caught me off guard at the 2nd phase xD)

Even the "I'm hanging on to the other side." When Giganto was getting flung into the air by the cyloop was also perfectly timed.

yep, i discovered both things by looking at some video reactions of ppl doing it by mistake XD however the part when u send him to the ground is a bit tricky as u have to do it without damaging him to much or else he will rise up instantly

How did you dodge?

I guess the big difference is that Super Sonic's differences from regular Sonic is far more distinguishable than how Super Saiyan differs from a regular Saiyan beyond the golden hair and increased strength. Sonic Frontiers makes you FEEL like a Super Saiyan in that sense

Knight boss is better for gameplay imo, mainly because it introduces the shield mechanic, making the gameplay more engaging and a little more complicated than the first two. Plus, I think Giganto has a lil too more jank than the other two(probably because he's the biggest)

@@Prime_Legend Reducing the gameplay down to a shield mechanic is'nt exactly creative nor more complicated. It is a harder fight cos it limits you but in that process you don't get as much creative freedom as the other two.

@@mechashadow the gameplay isn't "reduced" You can bypass the whole shield QTE if you want.

@@Prime_Legend Do tell cos' I keep getting trapped in the second half shield aiming thing that gets forced upon you. You have to do it once so that normal battle resumes AFAIK.

aw tysm ^^! that is actually the intention of this video, by trying to show most of sonic and giganto animations (thats why i took 1 hit at the beginning, which wasn't even necessary cuz at phase 2 he caught me off guard and hit me again XD)

its a nice trick, u have to spam L and R very fast at the moment the boss fires the laser

@@o2xygen717 Spam L and R (parry) and hold the control stick to either the left or right to dodge the laser. You can parry the grab attack normally.

im playing with a switch controller so the input is Y then X (attack then X) keep in mind that u need to have the quick cyloop skill and a full blue bar (it is the one that appears below the combo gauge, u use half of that bar with each cyloop)

@@DarthRoy1292 The thing is that I only land one or two hits doing the second cyloop, but it still only works around 1/4th of the time.

You can manually do it or make it easier with the quick cyloop skill. If the meter is full all you have to do is press Y when you’re hitting a combo
