Sonic Frontiers. Wyvern boss fight with all interactions and no HUD.

After my compilation of bosses made harder with mods, I had another idea.
Removing most HUD elements and showing most of the bosses interactions and secret attacks in one video (now in 60fps and 1440p)
This boss was beaten using the buffed titans mod, being level 1 on every stat and with a reduced parry window.
I hope you guys will enjoy.

I think this is not only my favorite Sonic boss fight, but my favorite boss fight as a whole of video gaming. The part where you need to run away from it truly puts emphasis on how desperately you need the chaos emeralds to beat this thing. Then when you run along side it the music sounds almost melancholy, like if you can’t reach the emerald up top, you may as well already be dead. Finally the one sided beat down on Wyvern made me crack a smile more than once. In my opinion, better than the knight boss.

im sorry but Knight is the best (im just messing around) the animations, the design, the music. Sonic slicing kinght in half just go too hard. The parry cutscene when sonic trips up knights then dash him into the air and then axe kick him back to the ground goes so hard. Everything in that fight was so hype.

@@PhoenixKing567 Honestly the only reason I like Wyvern more than Knight is because of the setup to the fight. I’ll agree with you in that Knight has a much better Super Sonic fight, with better quick time events and music, but the introduction to him was lacking.

In terms of design it’s pretty bad. You parry attack and QTE. That’s it. It’s just a really badass moment that’s hype

I will truly take a bunch of photos with wyvern because he wiggles so much (like imagine how cool the photos could look!), and the chains! Those chains! Perclfect!

Its not a mod, you can follow the official newsletter before the end of January and they give it to you as DLC. Unless you're talking about Super Sonic specifically, in which case, i didn't know he lost them.

Very few people know it because of the strange requirements. You need to ignore the throw QTE and keep attacking him, which is something nobody would do normally.

@@emyxam6418 the first time I had seen it was when I was practicing any% speedrun and in the run ,you cant get the ability to activate the throw cutscene. So basically I had no other option than to just keep attacking lol

i love the lasar beam attack, I found it out when i parried him the first time where you can get the QTE, but i kept attacking so i can get my quick cyloop meter up, and he ended up using it and my jaw dropped, This is easily the best fight in the game. I also purposely dont parry the missiles so I can fly around the island trying to catch up cause its just so beautiful.

Yeah basically the cyloop has a unique effect on each titan. On Giganto you just suplex him. On wyvern you bind him with chains And on Knight you Impale him with spears

The only thing that would make the titan fights better is if there wasn't any cuts in the music. The music is so good that it sucks when it cuts.

How’d you get the Wvyern to not snap his chains off the first cyloop? The times I cyloop him and they activate he ends up breaking them and attacks again. After the second cyloop he stays chained

Did you cyloop him in the first phase? Because if you cyloop him in the second phase, he will automatically free himself just like in 3:33

@@emyxam6418 You probably saw another comment about it by now, but if you quick cyloop the Wyvern in the second phase, parry it after it breaks free, and quick cyloop again, it will be caught as if you did a double cyloop.

I am the only one on those videos hating that boss fight. I just CAN'T parry. Either i'm pretty dumb ( which is very possible), or those controls just aren't that good, but I just can NOT parry, as much as I try to time it, and frankly it's becoming super frustrating. Very cool game overall though (even though I barely progressed through anything).

If you are playing the vanilla game and you are not good at parrying just hold the buttons, you can stay in the parry stance litteraly forever.
