I'd be absolutely for this. Yeah, it would be niche, but it would be interesting to actually give these characters their own story, and each game could be an exploration as to how a game with a dedicated playstyle would be if if was made exclusively for that respective character. A game with Tails' flight and puzzle techniques on the forefront with speed, Blaze with her more vertically inclined acrobatic speed platforming, a speed and puzzle TK game for Silver, this would absolutely rock. It absolutely would be hilarious if they called this subset of games "Sonic Chronicles" and the subtitle was the focus characters' names.

Blaze definitely needs her own game I know she got her time to shine in the IDW comics both Sega and Sonic team need to show her more love

Idk anything about anybody here, but I wonder... Would it hurt if we got a game revolving around Sonic, Shadow, Silver & Blaze, All Protagonist characters struggling to be one coherent team in a 4-player scenario? They are trying to best each other by being on their own, they worked together and interacted sure, but, 3 of them have a history of rivalry with Sonic, and every single one of them has their benefits and issues they could learn upon from each other... Here's the hook: It wouldn't be a Sonic-centric game, it would be a Party of characters playing a specific Role and distinct playstyle TOGETHER. The cast could rotate from main four by including other characters, so the story or YOU could switch the party playstyle. Why these four? Well, that's funny.... Anyone knows Devil May Cry? Yeah, surprisingly, there are character similarities between these two franchises... Dante is a stylish breakdancing trickster, a description kind of fitting for Sonic... We can contrast & compare other characters by using Sonic/Dante as a starting point... So if we make a graph math function on quadrants, Sonic/Dante is **F(x)** for our purposes Now we can put the characters: >>>F(x) Sonic & Dante: The most developed from bunch, Sonic doesn't have problems with teamwork, he runs off alone and tries to do stuff by himself, he knows all the characters and ties them together so he probably has a lot of feedback for others. Usually screws around on the job, but he gets serious when he needs to. Despite being a showoff, his good qualities and care about saving others is what makes him "Cool". What he does is more than what he tells. ....And yes, he's a Freelancer Hero, he does good stuff not because its right, but for the good even if the action MIGHT be bad. He will prioritize morality than respect some knightly conduct or any laws. Speed, Kinetic Energy/Electricity, Phantom Rush, Variety of Experiences for a stylish combat variety, examples including: Excaliburn, Hoverboard, Parkour and Melee Combat, Frontiers Move set, Seven Rings? (I need to study this more), Breakdancing, essentially revving up and accelerating for speed in style. Gimmick: Phantom Rush, Sonic builds up momentum as combat progresses to deliver faster, longer and more damaging combos while not staggered or hit. STYLE & GOOD PERFORMANCE - - - - - >>> F(-x) Shadow & Vergil: Functional Negative, rivals with Sonic that CAN BE MORE POWERFUL despite losing. More reserved with experience and wisdom, still prone to making mistakes. He doesn't cooperate THAT often, and mostly around Team Dark, a loyal ally at that. He can provide logic, rationale and precise/tactical approach with more technique oriented combat while still being a loyal ally and insufferable enemy. More akin to dropping weapons and throwing down kicks & punches in your face, but melee weapons, vehicles & _Second Amendment_ are not out of question. **Voted most likely to call bs** Keeping balance between doing good things and bad things while accepting past mistakes, working to "better Cooperate with others " thus gaining more power. Gimmick: Ring Inhibitors, his powers increases proportionally to the number of Rings removed. Good lord if he loses them all. EFFICIENCY & SELF CONTROL - - - - - >>> -F(-x) Silver & Nero: _Oh boy_ , A character that needs more development in mainline sonic game. Trying his best to be the protector of his time, despite all the flaws. Opposite to Shadow motivations for power, naïve(?) (Not quite on Blaze/Sonic/Shadow level) He needs more experience, but there is potential... He has energy/stasis powers that act as a actual physics weapon. He can manage that shared energy to do various things, like parrying/stopping projectiles, command grabs, carrying physical objects, Melee & Physics combat, energy siphon, etc. Gimmick: Psychokinetic, energy shared between abilities, allowing usage or increasing their potency, regenerates naturally or can be absorbed. DOING YOUR BEST & AVOIDING MISTAKES - - - - - Now we run out of DMC characters for comparisons... *_*Not quite*_* Devil May Cry 1 Director Hideki Kamiya, was left out of Devil May Cry 2 development, in the meantime he and others created a new hack'n'slash game. Which one? Published by Sega, **Bayonetta** One video by youtuber @BeeGBoss titled "Dante vs Bayonetta" actually has some merit as to why people want to see crossover between these two characters... **Opposites do complement each other** Bayonetta, a hot witch Prima Veladonna from another dimension that style is reflected in being serious on the job, mostly associated with Jazz & ballet (Especially since Bayo 1), and giving too much care about things (even taking care of children) There is only one character that fits: **Blaze the Cat** - - - - - >>> -F(x) Blaze & Bayonetta: Inverted opposite, She mostly works alone, isolated from the rest in her dimension. She's a protagonist like the rest... Unlike Sonic, can lose composure due to High Altitude Pressure, but is the only one knowledgeable about other dimensions & magic. Her issue is experiencing the variety of life, going out and learning new experiences while strengthening bonds is the way to write. Precision & Protection with care. Yes, that includes Sonic & Silver relationship + interacting with Shadow [Elephant in the room], she decides her own fate as a protector (as a EQUAL PROTAGONIST), she can appreciate kind acts and that shows (even when hiding it under a collected posture), so its fair, friendly relationships with no bad blood between actors, 50/50 for the writers/players. She the only one with Elemental Magic, so possesses natural/elemental resistances + natural fire resistance. She can use a rapier, magic spells, ballet, THERMAL SHIELD both as a attack and combo tool, vertical agility/acrobatics, overall grace as the other side of style. Gimmick: _Heat/Spark of Passion_ , blocking, protecting, variety & stylish combos, ENJOYING LIFE, increases fire & magic potency, improves damage and combo potential Loses the heat when hit or pressured. - - - - - So why write all of this? Because there are actually valid ideas that can be used for characterization & gameplay. Plus I get to make a joke in a serious discussion: _SAVIOR_ _BLUESTAIN_ _SOLFIRE_ _SHADOW_ _HEAVEN ON A LANDSLIDE_

I think if we're gonna get anything for the other characters, NOW IS THE TIME. Sega just made a nice, clean Segway into new plot beats for Tails, Knuckles, and Amy with Sonic Frontiers. If they were gonna act on that, I feel like we should learn something about it very soon.

I don't know if you guys know this but team dark are still around yes...but not G.U.N. In one of the Tailstube episodes eggman revealed he destroyed G.U.N during his reign over the world during sonic forces so team dark are more like the original dimoand cutters.
