This video showcases several mods to make Sonic Generations like Sonic and the Black Knight. Sonic has many animations and voice clips from Black Knight, plus Excalibur Sonic. Alongside Sonic's changes there's Misty Lake and Camelot Castle!

Happy to see this in my feed. I wish they gave Storybook another go since it was a separate niche from the Boost games even if the first game technically had a boost which killed enemies, it was deliberately less easy to control while Black Knight made players have to be active for enemies.

Awesome mod, really wished they’d do a third Sonic Storybook game and you can NEVER go wrong with Jason Griffith’s voice (all-time favorite Sonic voice) + Crush 40 always rocking in the background. 🤘

I love using these two mods (the model and the voice pack); the animations are sick and Black Knight's Jason Griffith is some of the best VA work Sonic's got. Oddly, I can't seem to get the model working anymore; whenever I enable it in HMM, it just loads in vanilla Gens Sonic. Voice still works, though! And a model import of the actual BK model just got released onto GB yesterday, so I have to give that a shot.

The only thing I feel this needs is Bandai Namco style fights, like the open melee and cinematic boss fights.

Out of the two storybook games, black knight is the one I like the most, we don't get too many games with a more serious sonic games which I should be different. I honestly believe that with a bit of improvement to the formula it would be a pretty fun game, think of a fast legend of zelda game, Hell you could probably mod frontiers into one.

Imagine if they had a dlc for sonic frontiers where he can get a sword, and run around hitting enemies with it. Would give off such strong Black knight and Zelda vibes at the same time. xD

Yes it would, frontiers' inspirations is supposed to be breath of the wild so it would only make sense to do it, they could do a black knight skin for sonic and super sonic if the game has character customisation.

Funny story I actually tried out a new black Knight mod, but then found out this older mod which I enjoyed more due to the animations. It's older but still works. :p

Isn't there a newer one with exact anims from Black Knight?

I tried the newer one, it doesn't have the same animations. The model is from black knight unlike this one though, but it also doesn't have homing attack animations, it's just the regular one. The running animation is also different, I preferred this more animation wise.

@@sonicovertime Then I'd say it's quite bad timing though. Doing this right when the newer one was released.
