Sonic Mania: The Misfits Pack is a mod for Sonic Mania that takes more unpopular zones from classic Sonic games and tries to spin them into a more fun and cohesive level on a similar quality to the zones in Sonic Mania. Along with gameplay from the SAGE 2020 demo, this video also includes gameplay from the SAGE 2018 and Holiday 2019 demos to showcase all of what The Misfits Pack has to potentially offer. Well... Boardwalk Bayou got axed, but it's here anyway!

I dont know how nobody is talking about how beautiful Labyrinth is Above Ground. If Labyrinth was in mania and was like this mod I think it would be my favorite zone in the game! Aquatic Ruin act 2 is also nice looking.

I love how Metropolis Zone, actually has the forest vibe now, it makes it feel so much more natural, and it just gives off the fact that Dr. Robotnik built this place on top of a forest, I just love it so much!

Wood zone was supposed to be the past version of casino night, as Sonic 2 was supposed to have Time Travel implemented. The scrapped zone Wood Zone was supposed to Past Casino Night zone, not past Metropolis as literally everyone thinks now.

Funny enough this single video has somewhat caught the attention of the algorithm and has been giving me a decent increase in subscribers, and as such I should probably post actual content again soon outside of the occasional shit post, which I will. I'm going to be recording a channel update pretty soon for the content I want to do this year, etc.

Just love how Metropolis Zone is merged with Wood Zone even though they have nothing to do with each other with Wood Zone being the Present version of Casino Night Zone

Most people assume Wood Zone to be the past version of Metropolis. Whether or not it's true, the association is there now and has been for years, so they do have something to do with each-other.

I think both of Flying Battery's bosses fit really well in Wacky Workbench so I'm glad that was the decision made for that level.

I'm not sure if it's going to be in the final version of this mod, but I do think people have started to figure out how to do custom bosses. There are going to be custom enemies though because Burrobots have been ported into Labyrinth and I'm presuming since one of the people working on this mod is also behind the Sonic 1, 2 and CD decompilations that most of the enemies from those games that aren't already in Mania that this mod represents will have them ported over. This is merely speculation on my part though.
