I didn’t notice it till now but The cloud knuckles, flying tails, figure 8 Sonic and an egg man in his egg mobile would have been a nice call back to the original set. About the stickers. You can buy some superglue and apply a small layer to the edge of the sticker or the joining place on the back of the shoe for the wrap arounds.

In the UK we got crappy bits of cardboard because a few years ago some hippy mother got her kids to write to Burger king about their plastic toys and they said they would get rid of them and then mcdonalds said it would start doing the same. Don't know why they cant make things out of recycled plastic though.. or have made some plushies instead.
