The laugh from Jim Carrey was ACTUALLY a deepened version of a scene from Sonic 2. It’s the scene where Sonic meets Knuckles and Robotnik reveals himself. All in all, I’m super excited for this!

It was always between GXK: The New Empire and Sonic 3 for being my most anticipated film for the year. But now that we know Jim Carrey is back, the laugh, and with the video, Sonic has the lead by a long shot. As for the cast, I always predicted Shadow would not be the only new CG character for the film. My initial guest was that Amy would've been the best guest for who would be added next, but I can see Rouge coming since she debuted in SA2 alongside Shadow too

I just found out that it is Jim Carry laughing in the teaser trailer. In Sonic 2, when Robotnik returns and breaks into Sonics house, he does the exact same laugh.

Jim Carrey coming back in Sonic 3 was exactly what I was hoping for. Yeah, I’m also curious about Shadow, but Jim Carrey’s Robotnik is one of my favorite Jim Carrey roles, might even become my favorite after this film. I was already long ready for a third run with these films, but I’m now REALLY looking forward to this film.

Shadow doesnt have a modulated voice. He just has a deep voice. That clip played totally sounded like carrey’s laugh echoed.
