Miner changes could make everything fit nicely the arm color and casting carry as snively would fix it to complete satisfaction. They could even open it up with carry saying "don't celebrate too soon freedom fighters, now it's my turn. And I'm not alone!" And start the movie right out. Go ahead and try it, I dare you, pause it right after the military bord when he says " you don't mean who I think " hit pause do snively's "don't celebrate too soon" line and resume, see what I mean.

melf on the shelf and Alikare the animators don’t get to decide on how Sonic looks. They are given directions and follow them to create the design chosen by the higher ups.

Like or Unlike, Designer is doing the best to make Sonic realistic... Yes. I feel like the sonic from the trailer and posters was made purely for them. They played with how Sonic is so infamous in the internet. With the movie being more than half done redesigning Sonic would cost millions of dollars. Maybe the actual Sonic is already in the movie. And all of this is a marketing scheme.

corporal tailsbro I see what you're saying, but yea if Warner Bros. were able to to make all the Pokemon by using their original designs but making them look realistic, Sonic should do the same thing. Paramount needs a lot of references along with Sega's help to make sonic look a lot better than how he did in the trailer. Using his in game design would look better for the film. Plus SEGA never liked his design when the poster was released, but Paramount didn't care. Now they have to listen and if that means they have to delay the movie, them thats fine.

I feel like they had higher-ups that have no business meddling with these things meddle with the design and the animators already knew from the start it was shit, but they still worked on that model until the trailer was put out and they could cite the backlash as reason for a redesign. Because honestly, following their activities since the design of Sonic was first revealed really feels like they knew what was coming.

It's like buying those knockoffs from the flea market. And this is a film about fiction. He can have a mono eye. It's all a fantasy world. Fans are really upset.
