It’s an actual game. That’s shocking. You can attack the evil Sonic, and even survive by hiding. This EXE game is actually decent!

lol you’re right, though if you didn’t collect all the emeralds, Knuckles would be captured by NES and be turned evil. That Knuckles only appears in Scrap Brain though.

@@mr.trololo9073I haven’t watched it, but don’t go into Sonic media with too much high expectations. The way I see it is just a comedy of a guy with an Echidna alien friend helping him out. While the title of the show seems clickbait-y, it’s probably for the best they called it that way.

oh so the ghost queen girl is actually sonic.nes's wife? no that can't be right, sonic.nes's wife was suffering from lung cancer...either way good job, but i do wish the story wrapped up there instead of a teaser for a continuation. good stuff tho

The Queen is not NES' wife, but she's interested in him. His wife Hayami appears at the very end of the credits. Also, a continuation would be necessary for the sake of lore (since the Queen's still on the loose and we don't know much about Huang's relationship with Hayami, among other things) and I feel the game can have even more than it already has.

SONIC.NES and SATAX (TYOCT) both came from the same project and they both shared many similarities. So it’s only natural I pay tribute to the project and its creator Exdeadly because without him, this game and NES.EXE would’ve never existed.

Of course the game was gonna have loud noises as sound design is really important for horror games. As far as I’m concerned, the only instance where the use of loud noises would be cheap is at the title screen. No need to be overly edgy about it though

@@SOSTeraDriveThere isn't any set ups. The game has no time to let your guard down or have you on edge for the jumps cares to properly scare you. It instead just drops you right into it and keeps the same pace. Don't get me wrong, though. This game looks really fun with it's visuals and audio mixing. I really like the spritework as this game is something I've always wanted to pull off.

@@stolenalt To be fair, the game actually begins with the Sonic stages, so it seems like a normal bootleg game at first glance but there is build up. Though I can probably see what you mean by this and I’m sure it has to do with the pacing of the Tails levels in general, as you’re constantly in danger as soon as NES spawns in each level.

@@stolenalt and I’ll be honest, while recording, I was already exhausted after Green Hill and when I realize there’s more levels to go, I just went “There’s MORE of this?? You’re kidding me”. Ironically, Tails has a similar reaction in one of the cutscenes so he’s kinda relatable in that way. Regardless, I will try my absolute best to fix the pacing in the game.
