I really like the idea of a metal Sonic that just parrots Sonic’s iconic lines. Just for no reason he’d spout off “You’re too slow” even in situations where it wouldn’t make sense to say it in the middle of a fight. Basically I just want him to have broken NPC dialogue.

Honestly one of the best Robotic Copies of sonic, just the fact of that it actually has a personality simmilar to sonic makes him so much more unique.

So this is why eggman never programmed metal sonic to talk for he fears the day where he has to deal with 2 annoying rodents.

People think he’s annoying, but IMO he’s the best interpretation of “what if Sonic was evil” that we’ve gotten in official media. Like realistically, an evil Sonic would keep the eagerness and snark but dialed up to unhinged degrees, his playful teasing would turn into cruel verbal abuse (but still said with the tone of a cutesy joke), and he’d have zero respect for anyone.

Chaos Sonic is obviously design for fans who thinks Sonic is annoying. Since Sonic himself sees Chaos Sonic as annoying. 🤣

One thing I love is the detail of CS's torso rotating to deliver punches in quick succession. The people who animated him are brilliant.

Chaos Sonic really feels like the most authentic form of a Metal Sonic: -Built to Rival Sonic by a form of Eggman (and a form of Tails) -Turns Sonic’s charming quips into annoying hell, making him fun to hate as he’s a grim mockery of the original -Only able to be beaten because Sonic has the ace of actual friends/a good moral compass up his sleeve It just shows why I think prime is one of the best modern sonic media, bar a few others.

He's a perfect combination of the worst parts of sonics personality and everything people fear he could do with his power.

Why I think sonic struggled so hard with chaos sonic is that they were made to literally be exactly like sonic. While Metal sonic does have the speed and strength Chaos Sonic has that (from the shard energy) and Sonics personality meaning he thinks and acts like he does (which means alot more counters and even counterattacks to sonics moves along with thinking quickly on their feet. Also minusing the will for good) it took something that probably not even Sonic himself could survive to take him down I know some people find him annoying but keep in mind his personality was meant to intensify the cocky and overcentric side of sonics personality (which was probably done intentionally by the council to give sonic a taste of his own medicine)

I love him already.

The scary thing about him is that we’re put in the bad guys’d shoes for once, and it’s *terrifying* 🥶. I never quite fully understood (despite my efforts) how or why the bad guys feel so annoyed and driven with Sonic, but with CS (Chaos Sonic) I actually got a glimpse and it scared me. The wise cracking isn’t jokes but hits at your whole demeanor, all while facing a foe you can barely land a punch on. For heroes it’s endearing because they’re on the right side and mean we’ll, but as a villain well…I can see why the bad guys get ticked after every defeat. Still love Sonic, but my perspective has grown to the point of sympathy for those he beats.

Honestly, I just look at how Chaos Sonic is written and to me he...just, feels like a parody of what Sonic was like during the Meta Era. Hyper, aggressive to the point of compulsion, constantly cracking jokes and never shutting up, and even dabbling in a little merch shilling. It all feels very...Colours-to-Forces Sonic. A man who took nothing seriously, and because of that failed as a character. I know for a fact that's not how he was supposed to be seen...but, maybe I'm just bias. I dunno.

If you think Chaos Sonic's annoying, you're saying Sonic's annoying.

I think he's another great line-up in the long line-up of Sonic Robots. Heck, I even had a plan that not only brings him back, but also brings in Metal Sonic too WITHOUT overshadowing either of them. So Chaos Sonic is rebuilt and, assuming that the universe is fixed and returned to normal...and assuming the show continues, the fact that Chaos Sonic was built more or less from the ground up using the Paradox Prism could mean that he would still stick around when the universes are fixed, him being just a freaky anomaly now. Well...now Chaos Sonic is strutting around with the original crew, with no one else except Sonic knowing how dangerous this robot is. Well Eggman capitalizes on this and captures Chaos Sonic, reprogramming him or doing something to make him work with the good doctor. However, even Eggman thinks that Chaos Sonic talks too much. Chaos Sonic eventually is freed from Eggman's clutches...but Eggman sees the potential of a robot doppelganger now and builds his own based on Chaos Sonic's data...though this one he builds to be mute. And so we have Prime Metal Sonic...the twist here being that he's more of a copy of Chaos Sonic than Sonic himself; a copy of a copy if you will...just way less talkative and just a servant of Eggman's, something that both Sonic and Chaos Sonic would find abhorrent. Metal Sonic and Chaos Sonic might both be robot copies out to destroy Sonic, but they do so for different reasons. Metal Sonic is just Eggman's servant here, doing the doctor's bidding and fighting Sonic more because his creator told him to than having any personal stake in it. Chaos Sonic on the other hand is still running around and wants to destroy Sonic because now it is personal, to prove once and for all that he is the superior Sonic, and thus the REAL Sonic. All three hedgehogs would of course end up fighting each other, as Metal Sonic would still be programmed to see Chaos Sonic as an enemy as well. So if you get all three of them in a room, it becomes a 3-way free-for-all between the three Sonics.
