check the game settings and make sure for your xbox controller you're on X-input rather than Directinput as Directinput is for playstation controllers whereas X-input is for xbox controllers. Once switched to X-input you'll need to remap your controller but inputs should hopefully work! (Also sorry this was 4 years too late)

I'm having the same issue with this game, except I'm using Xbox 360 pad. Controls won't work. Impossible to start the game.

Nah mate, still not working. Apparently if you copy (joystickmapping1.xml) from the Sonic directory and paste over the existing one in the Teknoparrot directory it should work. Tried it but still didn't work

I wouldnt have worried but ive found that drifting plays a big part in the game and adds to boost levels

Works on latest version of TP but sound cuts out! Easy to set up buttons too

It isn't emulated, it uses a loader to run it natively.

The best version of this game is the PC version because you can run it at any resolution, plus it's got more of a career mode than the arcade version. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are the least good because they're 30fps. The days of arcade games being better graphically than home consoles and PCs ended around 20 years ago. Arcade machines nowadays are either based off console hardware (like Playstation 3) or pretty basic spec PC hardware like this game runs on.

My mic doesn't work and annotations are no longer supported so me doing a tutorial is pretty much useless. The chap doing the tutorial speaks in Spanish but it's shown with some English text. It's pretty straightforward. Most of the comments for his video are in English if you have any issues. No problem RH game loader is not needed. I just run it with Teknoparrot and it works.
