To turn the beacon , craft some iron blocks, make 2 beacons , put the 1st beacon underneath, make pyramid,and put the 2nd beacon on it. Put some materials to make an effect ( iron ingot, gold ingot, redstone, diamond/emerald ) , et voilá ! Now your beacon is turned on !
